Jody Jackson Golf Returns to the Green Grass of Victoria

After spending the last four seasons as the Technical Director of Golf and Head Provincial Coach for the British Columbia Golf Association, now called BC Golf, Coach Jackson returns to the golf course to continue with Jody Jackson Golf.  Her personal golf business has been put on hold for the last five years as she served BC Golf in building high performance athletes, developing golf at the grassroots level and educated stakeholders on the Long Term Player Development Model for Golf.

“I am super excited to get back to the golf club level and provide a variety of Instructional Programs, Complete Game Coaching programs, Golf Schools, Special Events and Golf Travel Adventures… once again!”  says Jody.

Over the past four seasons, Jody has racked up a number of coaching accomplishments and traveled the world doing it!  She has worked with top-level golfers in all age groups, some of which have gone on to win national championships, make Golf Canada National Teams, qualifiy for The U.S. Open(LPGA), win Pac-12 Player of the Year, win U.S. College Mountain West Player of the Year and contend on the LPGA Futures Tour/Symetra Tour.

Can you say Coach Jackson has been a busy golf professional as of late!?  The next turn in her golf career has taken her back to her roots, teaching golf at a local golf course, once again.  After spending 12 years at Cordova Bay Golf Course, Jody has decided to make a move to the new and upcoming Highland Pacific Golf.  Coach Jackson has recently stated,  “I really love the layout of this golf course and the atmosphere is new and exciting, with a wonderful teaching facility and superb staff.  I have heard so many golfers speak very highly of Highlands Pacific Golf and lI am ready to be a part of the team, lead by Doug Hastie and Rob Cruise, CPGA Professionals”.

Jody is kicking off her official beginnings at Highlands Pacific Golf at the beginning of June.  She is setting up shop just in time to support all those competitive senior women taking part in the BC Sr. Women’s Championship, to be held June 18 – 20.  As she was involved in providing BC players provincial training opportunities in the past for this very championship, her role in supporting players in this regard is… well… a no-brainer.  Welcome back to Vancouver Island golf development Coach Jackson!

That’s a wrap!
