In January 2013 I returned to school, attending Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo.  I enrolled in the Bachelor of Education—Post Baccalaureate Degree, to complete requirements for the BC Ministry of Education.  As of May 2013 I will be certified to teach in our school systems and have a vision to grow the game of golf within our schools.  Prior to that, I completed a four-year full-time contract as Technical Director of Golf for the British Columbia Golf Association. Over those four competitive seasons, I worked in Long Term Player Development, supporting players aged 6 to 65 years old.  In the process, I coordinated with professional colleagues at the club level all the way to our national sport body – Golf Canada. It has been a superb learning curve and my passion for coaching has been lit up. Check out my Coaching Accomplishments.
